Dr. Giedre Petkauskaite

Co-Owner and Veterinarian

Giedre graduated from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2009. She always wanted to be a veterinarian from a very early age, rescuing small animals around her neighbourhood and visiting the first opened small animal practices in her town. After graduation, Giedre worked in a clinic in Lithuania before moving to Spain in 2012, where she founded the house-call-service Vet to Home, which still continues to operate successfully. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in dentistry,

Currently, she is enrolled in dentistry Accesia Academy in Sweden. Also, in dentistry and maxillary surgery, postgrade studies in Málaga PgO UCAM university. On top of that, she is a member of the odontologists group, which is led by danish odontologist Dr. Morten Hinge.

Outside of her veterinary work, Giedre is an avid explorer with a passion for discovering the world’s natural wonders. She delights in embarking on adventures to remote destinations from lush jungles to expansive savannas. Her love for wildlife extends beneath the waves, where she enjoys scuba diving to observe marine life in its natural habitat.

Dr. Antoaneta Moise

Co- Owner and Veterinarian

Antoaneta specializes in cardiology, oncology, and ultrasound diagnostics.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1991 from the University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest. With extensive experience, she worked as a veterinary doctor and emergency specialist in horse and mixed practice in Romania from 1994. Antoaneta has travelled around the world for competitions with veterinary teams and sport horses. From 2016, she worked and trained in several veterinary clinics and hospitals as a veterinary surgeon and emergency care vet in the United Kingdom. In 2020, she moved to Spain and now works as a small animal veterinary surgeon. Antoaneta speaks English, Spanish, and Romanian.

Outside of the office, Antoaneta and her life partner Dr. Juan Carlos can be found spending time in nature with their tree energetic dachshunds Click, Pia and Yeri.

Dr. Juan Carlos Cartagena Albertus

Veterinarian

Meet Juan Carlos Cartagena Albertus, our esteemed veterinary oncology specialist. With an International Doctorate in Veterinary Oncology and a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Practice & Therapeutic Investigation, Juan Carlos brings a wealth of expertise to our team. He is accredited by AVEPA as a specialist in both Oncology and Soft Tissue Surgery, and his skills extend to Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery.

Juan Carlos’s impressive credentials include a GP Certificate in Ophthalmology, a PgC AVP Certificate from the RCVS, and a GP Certificate in Oncology. He also holds a Diploma in Surgery and Anesthesia from UAB. As a member of prestigious organizations such as ESVONC, GEVONC, VSSO, and GECIRA, Juan Carlos stays at the forefront of veterinary medicine.

In his spare time you’ll likely find JC in the operating rooms of other veterinary practices, indulging his passion for surgery. He also enjoys spending holidays with Dr. Antoaneta.

Vaida Daukantiene

Receptionist/ Veterinary Asistent

Vaida’s multifaceted role at the veterinary clinic is characterized by a blend of exceptional customer service and proficient administrative skills. Her contributions are integral to the clinic’s smooth operation, both in client-facing areas and behind the scenes. Supporting veterinary staff in surgery rooms, helping with hospitalized patients, assisting in various medical procedures.Vaida speaks Lithuanian and English, and is learning Spanish and Russian.

Also, Vaida is a mother of two children Dominkas and Ana.
